Yes, that would put his chances out in the wild in a pretty bad place :) He'll make it, you'll see. Yeah, he'll be fine :)

Thanks for the update!Guilie Castillohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09006999087139126972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18926017.post-86042085246407251772015-10-21T09:39:36.388-04:002015-10-21T09:39:36.388-04:00Thanks for the comments.

He said the bunny is crazy-wild, which is great, because that means it is wary enough to have a good chance of survival.

of course the bunny was always crazy-wild around him, ha, ha. The bunny only liked me because I'd fed it. And he liked having me rub his ears. But it made me feel better, and I'm glad he's running around in the thick grass, having a good time in the morning sun.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18122506895024303225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18926017.post-37605887398151980022015-10-20T14:11:40.931-04:002015-10-20T14:11:40.931-04:00You're so right... Oh, my. Oh, no. So I get how hard it must've been to let the rabbit go (I'm not sure I could've :) ) — and I admire you enormously for doing it. It was the right thing to do, no question. I buy a lot of new authors and independent authors (self-publishing authors) and $3.99 seems like a fair price to me. It provides a decent profit to the author and allows me to buy a lot of books I wouldn't otherwise have the money to buy. Really, it's better than buying books from the used bookstore because at least the author makes money on the sale when you buy it from Amazon (or wherever).

Glad to hear from you.
AmyAmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18122506895024303225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18926017.post-23061032669218256732014-07-20T14:36:35.651-04:002014-07-20T14:36:35.651-04:00That's exactly how I have done it as a new Aut...That's exactly how I have done it as a new Author. It makes common sense. I was recently harangued in a facebook group for my opinion that 3.99 for a first time Author is the maximum I am willing to pay. As an Author myself I understand the need to get paid and recognized for your hard work. However, I think you need to get recognized before you get paid. To do that, people have to read an unfamiliar book. The right pricing will make that happen.

Jack July Author of Amy Lynn. I write whatever pops into my head which may or may not be good. I'm still learning. As for the most difficult part, I think editing is the hardest part. I write three of four chapters, then go back and edit. Repeat. By the time I write The End, my manuscript is pretty polished. Instead you can introduce this early on by having the niece say something similar to him so that the reader sees that by his reaction that this is a normal and loving thing they do. Or accompany those words with an amicable gesture, like a hug or a kiss on the forehead.

Everyone has been raised differently, therefore they will hear each sentence in the way they grew up hearing it. The trick is remembering this simple yet easily overlooked fact and compensate with subtle details that give context when tone is impossible.
